Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual discipline that originated in India over thousands of years ago. It includes postures to help you stay flexible, strengthens muscles and bones, aligns the vertebrae, which will improve your health and your quality of life for your lifetime.

We will be practising Hatha Yoga which concentrates on physical and mental health - the poses will be adjusted and modified to your ability so everyone can participate to their fullest. If you would like to slow the effects of aging and ensure a smooth transition into your golden years - then yoga is for you. Particular emphasis will be on prevention poses for osteoporosis, osteopenia and osteoarthritis.

If you stick with yoga you will be amazed at the flexibility your body will be able to attain and maintain for the rest of your life by attention to a regular yoga practice.
