What to bring
Mats, straps, blocks, sandbags, spinal strips, bolsters, weights and blankets are supplied. However, you may wish to bring your own mat.
What you should know
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and remember yoga is experienced in bare feet.
It is recommended that you do not have a heavy meal before your yoga lesson, in fact, it is a good idea not to eat 2-3 hours before a class and directly after a class.
Make sure you turn off all cell phones and electronic devices during class.
To participate in classes, you will be required to complete a Health Information and Waiver form.
Yoga postures are a progression from warming up or preparing the body, to standing, balancing, and abdominal poses, inversions, back bends, forward bends, twists poses, compensation poses, breathing exercises and final relaxation. Over ten classes you will learn more about these poses.
